The property on the former Georgii-Kobold site in Leinfelden-Echterdingen has an area of around 22,000 square metres and was acquired at the end of 2016. The groundbreaking ceremony was in 2018. Around 2,000 employees have been working at Daimler Truck’s new headquarters since September 2021. The five-storey building offers an open and interactive room concept on an area of around 51,000 square metres. Networked working is optimally supported by state-of-the-art digital infrastructure, flexible project spaces and a wide range of communication surfaces. In addition to a car park and the underground car park, there are around 280 bicycle spaces, including changing rooms and shower facilities.
The Daimler Truck Campus is located directly on the A8 motorway and is therefore connected to other Daimler Truck locations such as Wörth, Mannheim and Gaggenau. The proximity to Stuttgart Airport facilitates international business trips.
There is also a good connection to the local public transport network. From the “Leinfelden Frank” stop, the U5 light rail will take you around 20 minutes to Stuttgart Central Station.
