In 2017, Mount Holly Truck Manufacturing Plant was recognized at the highest level, Environmental Steward, by the state of NC Department of Environmental Quality. The NC Environmental Stewardship Initiative is designed to promote and encourage superior environmental performance. The voluntary program promotes pollution prevention and innovative approaches to meet and go beyond regulatory requirements.
